The solution to Israel’s siege on Gaza is decolonisation

I agree with all Asa says - and welcome his policy of adding basic, moral analysis to the (necessary) plethora of facts and statistics - but I disagree with the latest fad, joined in with by him, of declaring 'decolonisation' as the key vision. It is a negatve concept. Yes, Israel is a Britain-enabled colony. Yes, colonialism is slavery on the collectve level and just as evil as individual slavery. And yes, decolonisation is merely the other side of the coin reading freedom, or independence, or self-determination. But it is AGAINST something. As such, it has only a fraction of the clarity and motivating power of the 'liberation' of (all of) Palestine, or the positive vision of full fulfilment of all Palestinian rights, or of a simple, single democracy in which all Palestinians, wherever they now live, are citizens. As a slogan, 'decolonisation' won't work. Thank you, we struggle on...
