The big guns are warming up towards South Africa's summer of racing and Saturday's Group Three Victory Moon Stakes from Vaal features one of the potential superstars of the season in Soqrat.

Assessed Prices: Soqrat $1.70; Ali Bon Dubai $8.50; Al Mutawakel $14.00; Green Haze $21.00.

The Racing and Sports Priceline finds Soqrat as a very likely winner and a good bet at odds better than even money which should be available by race time.

Already twice a Group One winner, Soqrat was very close to his best when resuming over a mile and on the back of that promises to hit new peaks through his four-year-old season.

He has a string of high-rating efforts, including his terrific win in the Horse Chestnut Stakes, and his form around Do It Again marks him down as one of the top couple of horses in South Africa.

That leaves him with a nice edge against Saturday's rivals and the Racing and Sports Model's prices reflect as much.
